DaDesktop Public Cloud – Terms of Use

Purpose

The remote desktops provided are strictly for delivering training courses, consultancy services, or recruitment activities.

Non-permitted use

The following activities are not allowed:

Hosting websites or other services
Bitcoin mining
Running performance tests

Should DaDesktop staff identify any of these activities, the service will be immediately terminated with no refund provided.

Guarantee and Service Level Agreement

DaDesktop guarantees 95% service availability.

Maintenance, repairs, and upgrades will be carried out outside of hosted working hours, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time in Greece (the time zone of the server’s physical location).

Data Safety and Confidentiality

This service is offered on an as-is basis, and DaDesktop cannot ensure the confidentiality or safety of data transferred to the desktops. If you require such guarantees, we recommend using DaDesktop On-Premise instead.

Because the desktops are primarily intended for training, this service is not suitable for handling highly sensitive material.

Authentication for the Remote Desktops prioritises convenience over security.

Troubleshooting Recording

Course Desktops (including Fresh-start, Trainer, and Participant sessions) may be recorded for troubleshooting.

Disclaimers of Liability – Indemnification

DaDesktop provides the services “as-is”, with all faults and on an availability basis. Neither we nor our suppliers offer any express or implied warranties or guarantees regarding the services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We and our suppliers do not guarantee that any results you obtain from using the services will be effective, reliable, accurate, or meet your needs. We do not guarantee access to or use of the services (directly or through third-party networks) at times or locations of your choosing. No oral or written statement from a DaDesktop representative shall create a warranty. You may hold additional consumer rights under local laws that this contract cannot alter. You use the services at your own risk.

Your sole and exclusive remedy for any dispute with us or our suppliers is the cancellation of your account. In no event shall the total cumulative liability of us, our affiliates, and our suppliers for any claims arising from your use of the services exceed the total fees, if any, that you paid during the period in which the claim occurred. We, our affiliates, and our suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the services.
