DaDesktop

Roadmap

DaDesktop for training roadmap

  1. Training materials organization - A tighter weave with instructor resources, learner notes, slide packs, and the like.
  2. Auto Upscaling Desktop - If a participant's or trainer's Desktop ever runs low on resources, the system should automatically allocate more (CPU, memory, storage) on the fly, without interrupting the session.
  3. Real time subtitles with translations - As an illustration, when an English-speaking instructor trains Japanese learners, those learners could read Japanese subtitles in real time (this is already accessible to customers who have opted into "Preview features").
  4. Real time interpretation with AI - Japanese participants would be able to listen to an AI-driven real-time Japanese interpretation even though the instructor is speaking English.
  5. Participant assistant -  The system supports participants during lab exercises by recommending the next step or alerting them when an exercise has been done wrong, delivering much quicker feedback whenever a user gets 'stuck'. This is known as the Participant Assistant Agent. (available in Preview features)
  6. Statistics - Course coordinators and interested parties can track user engagement.

DaDesktop for Work (DD4W)

  1. Public Cloud - At present, DaDesktop for Work is limited to private installations; we aim to make DD4W available to the general public as a cloud service.
  2. Better encryption integration - Today, encryption configuration relies on the operating system; we plan to let users integrate it directly with DaDesktop. A graphical interface would streamline this—imagine not having to type a password on the machine because the system already recognises you.
  3. Auto-switch Remote replica - The system will automatically set up or identify the nearest remote replica to cut down on latency and boost the user experience.

DaDesktop Labs/Self-study

  1. The system provides feedback on the user's lab progress.
  2. Creator studio - lab creators can easily edit recordings online and synchronize them with the lab instructions, desktop templates and other resources (already available in Beta).
