DaDesktop’s Supported CPU Architectures (ARM and AMD64)
DaDesktop provides full support for these CPUs, with automated build tests making sure everything runs smoothly:
Intel and AMD x86 (AMD64)
AMD
- AMD zen 2 (EPYC 7002, Ryzen),
- AMD zen 3 (EPYC 7003, Ryzen)
- AMD zen 4 (EPYC 9004, Ryzen)
- AMD zen 5 (ES, QS)
Some of our customers still run zen 1 (EPYC 7001).
Intel
- Xeon E3, Xeon E5, Xeon E7 v3 or newer (Haswell)
- Xeon Scalable
- i5, i7, i9 Haswell or newer
Xeon Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge (E3, E5, E7) seem to work fine, but we don’t include them in our automated tests.
ARM
- AWS Graviton 1, Graviton 2, Graviton 3 and Graviton 4
- Ampere® Altra® Q80-30 or newer
- Kunpeng 920 or newer
Most other models work fine (especially Apple Silicon); if you’d like to test your hardware, just reach out to technical support.
RISC-V
It should work fine, although we haven’t tested it extensively.
